Additional Details:

• Skill Level: Intermediate

• Size: The pattern creates a blanket that is approx. 27” wide and 33” high. (Instructions for adjusting the size are included in the pattern).

• Yarn: You can use any size 3 (light) yarn. I used Patons Beehive Baby Sport. This yarn is size 3 (light), 70% acrylic and 30% nylon. A skein is 359 yds / 328 m and 3.5 oz / 100 g.

  You will need 5 colors. Here are the amounts of yarn required and the colors I used:

  1) Border Color: This pattern has a built-in border (meaning it’s worked at the same time as blanket body). The border color gets separated into two skeins/bobbins so you don’t have to carry the yarn back and forth. You can either use two skeins of the same color or separate your yarn manually.

  Border (A1): 180 yds / 50 g (I used 1/2 of a skein of “Baby Grey”).
  Border (A2): 70 yds / 20 g (I used 1/4 of a skein of “Baby Grey).

  2) Blanket Body Color (B): 850 yds / 235 g (I used 2 and 1/3 skeins of “Angel White”).

  3) Bobble Color 1 (C): 45 yds / 12 g (I used “Delicate Green”).
  4) Bobble Color 2 (D): 28 yds / 10 g (I used “Bonnet Blue”).
  5) Bobble Color 3 (E): 28 yds / 10 g (I used “Precious Pink”).

• Crochet Hook Size: J/10 (6.00 mm).
• Other Materials: Scissors, yarn needle, measuring tape and materials for wet blocking the finished blanket (rust-proof pins, blocking boards and a spray water bottle).
• Terminology: Written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
